-  Like Rosso, he loves Bitter tastes.  He loves poking Bitter poffins as well due to their texture.  Frozen treats are also something he likes to have for a snack.  Particularly the Casteliacone.
-  A bookworm, he loves to read and has many books in his room consisting of all kinds of subjects.  From quantum mechanics to astrology, to how to sew and knit, to comics.  He also likes to collect books if the subject interests him.
-  Out of all the things that are looked at in research, he likes field studies.
-  Though he definitely does not want to admit it, he’s into pop music, and is usually always the one to take Cocoa to concerts and signings (as they like the same idols, and he usually wants an autograph or photo, too).
-  He’s intrigued by temples and old, historical places like Snowpoint Temple and the Bell Tower.

Dislikes: 
-  Like Cocoa and Daven, he dislikes Sour tastes and will make a face.  However, he’ll also cough and splutter.

-  Though he doesn’t like to, he has vitamins that he must take daily in order to not feel tired.   It’s estimated that he can eventually get off the vitamins when he reaches twenty-one. 
-  Not one for sports due to being pretty clumsy.  He’ll drop balls, gets hit in the face a lot by them, and doesn’t have the stamina for such hard sports like basketball and soccer.
-  The least favourite thing he does in researching is any time there are recordings.  He thinks he sounds weird for audio recording, and is very self-conscious with cameras.
