..:.:: Heavenly Orca ::.:..

Back from the Philippines, but I'm pretty sick, sadly (brochitis and it's made my eyes a bit red, too)...TTwTT

Drawing, and well, out comes another crossover ship.  Welp, I can't help it.  XD I know they're strange, but that's just how I roll: I'm strange, anyway.  

Well, I know Free! is well-known, however some may not be aware and think "Who the hell is the other guy?" that I'm pairing Makoto with.  The other guy is Kira Sumeragi from Uta no Prince-sama who's part of a rival guy idol group called HE☆VENS.  I always liked the idea of Makoto being a fan of HE☆VENS: Kira in particular.  

Though Kira is quiet (even worse than Haruka Nanase), I feel that he expresses everything through his actions rather than his words, and every little gesture he makes with his face (like the quirk of an eyebrow or how he stares at you) and how he moves his hands and body all relate to how he feels.  I feel that Makoto would be able to pick that up quite quickly (since his best friend is pretty quiet, and he had to play spokesman to him for a while), and he knows that though Kira looks aloof and cold, he's far from it inside.  A sweet, warm and understanding person like Makoto would fit for the silent, yet polite and also tolerant (look at Kira's group mates!) young man like Kira (that and I do have a certain interpretation and portrayal for Kira since he's not really as highlighted as his fellow group members, and it really melded well alongside Makoto's character ).

...and after telling it to a friend, I became motivated to draw a picture with this as the result.

And yes, I will call this ship Heavenly Orca.  I know, weird name, but now I can just imagine an orca flying in space and swimming along the stars.  X3
