Biography
He knew Ralph since high school, and the two have been close friends ever since.  Unlike his best friend, he is more prone to violence, and is hot-tempered – as a result, Paul’s insults get to him easily.  He is the one who proposes the idea of opening an idol agency and running it together with Ralph.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, and is good at selling as well as predicting and researching trends.  He himself however has a rather quirky sense of style.  Between him and his best friend, he is the one who is more focused with goals, and the one who supervises the careers of his idols.  Despite that, he's otherwise quite cheerful and relaxed unless you manage to light his fuse. 

Notable Relationships
 Ralph 
His best friend since high school, and they've been close since then.  They contrast with each other very well, with Leigh's focus and control fitting along with Ralph's gentleness and leniency.  Ralph is also the one who usually has to hold Leigh back whenever he's forced or tempted to hit something or someone from losing his temper (usually Paul).  Still, Ralph admits that out of the both of them, Leigh is braver and more determined.  The two also enjoy solving puzzles and playing games together.

 Jen  
Leigh's younger cousin, the two get along very well, though Jen does love to tease and poke her older cousin from time-to-time.  Leigh however takes it to stride and doesn't seem to mind.  Jen does, however, worry that her cousin's short temper may someday get him into trouble.

 Olivia 
At first, Olivia mistook Leigh for a fellow high school student, which exasperated him at first.  However, going past that first encounter, Leigh has a fondness for her as she reminds him of his sisters.  However, that doesn't stop Olivia with developing a precocious crush on him.  As a result, she likes to talk to him, and does try to cook things for him as he doesn't usually eat cooked meals.

 Milo 
Though he likes Milo's enthusiasm and great cheer, Leigh tends to get exhausted with the younger man, and usually yells at him for his conduct.  Leigh also gets easily frustrated at Milo's tendencies to troll people or be a gadfly, even if he knows he's just joking and definitely has no malicious intent.  Milo has tried to troll Leigh before, he stopped after the first time.  It ended with a bump on his (Milo's) head for not taking the recording session seriously, and wetting the studio's floor with water (along with Leigh himself).  As a result, Milo admits that though he admires Leigh's skills with supervision and business, he is a bit scared of him.

 Renée
He had sought to recruit her before after hearing she was coming home from her world travels.  Though she declined his request at first, she changes her mind when she sees how hard he works with the idols at BIHA.  Out of all the members of BIHA, she noticeably speaks to him the most.  Leigh is also enamoured with her, but finds that she's way too out of his league.  However he notes that she recently has begun to speak to him in a more intimate and flirtatious manner, which gets him very flustered.

Fun Facts:
  He's Chinese, speaks Mandarin fluently, and though the city isn't specified, his mother is from the Shandong province while his father was from Beijing.  
His surname is Cui.
  He graduated from university with a Bachelor of Commerce.
  He has five younger sisters.  All of them are half-sisters.
  His favourite genre of games are RPG and fighting.  His least favourite are dating sims.
 Being quite geeky, he bluntly states he hates girls who are under the "tsundere" archetype, and states that he likes girls that are sweet and kind.
  Never has he been seen without a hat.  Even in bed and in the shower, he wears a night cap and a shower cap, respectively.
  In the initial plan where Beautiful Idol Hearts was a dating sim, Leigh was Ralph's Exposition Fairy, and was not dateable.
  His style of clothing is reminiscent to that of the male Pokemon trainer protagonists.
 Leigh's fist is only reserved to guys: he doesn't condone hitting women, but he does condone on calling one out when she does bullshit.
 The reason why Leigh doesn't like girls who are under the tsundere archetype is because in first year university, he not only called a girl one cute, but she punched him in the face for it.  He commenced to give her a verbal lashing for her horrible behaviour to the point she was pushed to tears.
